Lustrum Ski Trip Minerva

About the project

Capturing unique moments

Minerva, the vibrant student association from Leiden, decided to organize a large-scale ski trip to Alpe d’Huez on the occasion of its 42nd anniversary. With as many as 1250 enthusiastic members participating in this adventure, it promised to be an unforgettable trip. During the trip, more than 500 precious moments were captured by Minerva members.

How do you capture the experience of such a chaotic ski trip? How do you ensure that every smile, every blunder and the beauty of the mountains are preserved forever? Enter Social House. Social House added a crucial dimension to Minerva’s ski trip by actively involving students in capturing the adventure.

Through the eyes of all the members

The challenge for Minerva was to capture not only the spectacular surroundings of Alpe d’Huez, but especially the unique atmosphere and the special bond between the members. The goal was to create an aftermovie that documented not only the trip itself, but also the unforgettable moments experienced during the ski trip.

The submitted footage from the ski trip was compiled into a breathtaking aftermovie. Using the power of user-generated content, all participants were actively involved in creating a lasting memory. Social House played a key role in turning the raw footage into a cohesive story that captured the unique experience of the ski trip.

An unforgettable memory

Minerva’s ski committee was full of praise for the final result and was impressed by the way Social House managed to turn all the submitted footage into something special. The aftermovie served as a lasting memory for the participants and brought the special moments of the ski trip back to life.

Experience it for yourself and see how Minerva’s anniversary ski trip comes to life through the eyes of its members in the aftermovie here.

Ski Committee Minerva:

“When we saw the final result, we were very impressed with how Social House turned all the submitted junk into something fun.”
